DEBORAH L. WILSON is the managing partner and shareholder with the firm. Her undergraduate degree is from UCLA (1987) in Economics and her Juris Doctorate is from the University of Denver College of Law (1993). Debbie clerked for the honorable Judge Charles Thompson and practiced law in Las Vegas before returning to Colorado and becoming a partner with SBWP in 1997. Debbie sits on the Board of the Colorado Creditor Bar Association, is a graduate of the Colorado Institute of Leadership Training and the former chairperson for the National ABA GP/Solo Real Estate Group. Debbie is very active in local community and legislative affairs and speaks frequently to professional organizations on real estate-related subjects, including training CAM certification candidates on Fair Housing, and teaching the annual Crime Free Multi Housing certification programs for local police departments. She was recently named Person of the Year by the Apartment Association of Metro Denver. Her primary focus with the firm is mobile home law, landlord/tenant and collections practice.
