Denver Happy Hour @ Ghost Plate & Tap Bar (18th/Stout) ...Tuesday August 23, 2011 ...5:30p to 7:30p

Hi There,

The Co-Host for the Augusts’ Denver Happy Hour is Joe Buczkowski, CEO, Lease Runner (the Paperless way to Lease Your Properties). I met Joe several years ago at one of my listings. He’s not only a friend but now a client as well. He is a brilliant & easy going guy with a great leasing software to share. It streamlines the whole leasing process all in one package. Easier for both tenants & landlords. Check it out at www.leaserunner.com . Ghost Plate & Tap is a new lunch/dinner restaurant owned by Breckenridge & Wynkoop (same owners as Alehouse at Amatos). They just opened and I would like to turn you on to a new cool place. Hope you can join me this Month at Ghost Bar.

Please join us on Tuesday, August 23th

Ghost Plate & Tap pairs the culinary pleasures of a contemporary American café with the vintage charm of an established, big-city tavern.

Our place is an open kitchen, wood & green leather oasis. It resembles a Fifties/Sixties era hangout you visited as a kid with your very cool uncle in Chicago or old Denver.

It's a comfortable, unpretentious classic complete with counter seating and a throwback, horseshoe-shaped bar. Call it Urban Pioneer meets “Mad Men” and New West Professional, with a shot of politics and courthouse conversation on the side.

The Ghost Plate & Tap menu features a mix of old-school culinary classics, up-to-date eclectic dishes and elevated bar standards. A few favorites from the Wynkoop/ Breckenridge eateries honor some hospitality trailblazers in our own family tree.

Our beverage menu showcases 21st century cocktail culture and exceptional (and largely local) craft beer. The drinks list holds everything from updated versions of time-tested drinks to innovative refreshers built with local spirits, house-made mixers and fresh ingredients and ideas.

Our goose-bumping beer list is highlighted by a mix of liquid art from our twin breweries, Breckenridge Brewery and Wynkoop Brewing Company. Those beers are joined by a thoughtful mix of world-class beers from our favorite local and national peers. Breweries we know and love who think and operate like we do. It’s a beer list that wasn't possible in Colorado until the past few years.

In addition to celebrating great food, bar and tavern culture, we like to pay homage to Denver’s past and our circa 1890 Ghost Building's history.

So our food & drink menus offer nods to recent heroes who saved our building from destruction, and bygone pioneers who brought Denver’s saloon and hospitality trade to life
