The Co-Host for the Junes’ Denver Happy Hour is Jim Armstrong, Independent Writer & Inventor. I met Jim last Fall at a Pie Baking Contest in the Highland Neighborhood. I entered the pie baking contest hoping I could win and have my pie served at Root Down for a month J I sat there and met Jim and his 3 friends. Jim & Willy were kind enough to taste all 20 pies to tell me my pie was the best J Not a lot of people would or can eat that many calories… I’m very appreciative to have Jim as a friend and would like to introduce you to him.


This month we are meeting @ The Drink (1320 15th Street, Downtown)…Used to be Alto & Sambuca on 15th between Larimer & Market. They formed 3 bars: The Drink, Mix Music Lounge and Rack & Rye. It’s a good destination point for you sports lovers out there. Huge screen TV and close to all the action. Just opened last Fall and is a great addition to the Downtown Scene J
